With the current pandemic wreaking havoc on our physical health, the economy, our livelihoods and last but not least our mental health, there has never been a more urgent time to take care of our minds and do the inner work to increase our resilience to such acute stressors.
Clara will explain the utmost importance of creating a healthy habit of “mental hygiene” and cultivating mental balance through her integrated approach, combining ancient contemplative wisdom and meditation with neuroscience, mindfulness and emotional intelligence. Clara will explain how meditation can help us cultivate a more balanced mind in four different areas of mental wellbeing, which will increase our ability to deal with life’s ups and downs, improve our mental health and hence bring about a sense of sustainable wellbeing.
Speaker: Dr. Clara Seeger (PhD) is a highly experienced leadership coach, corporate facilitator, online course creator, speaker and author, specializing in mindfulness and meditation, neuroscience and mental balance. Clara works with corporate executives and private individuals either on a 1-to-1 or a group basis to help them realize higher levels of sustainable wellbeing by cultivating a more balanced mind. She has also produced a series of 4 online meditation courses focused on cultivating a balanced mind.
Her approach combines ancient contemplative wisdom and meditation with findings from modern neuroscience, emotional intelligence and psychology. When working with Clara you will tap into your deepest aspirations, re-examine your priorities, learn to focus your mind, understand your biases and learn to regulate your emotions.
Clara was awarded a distinction in her Master of Science in “Mindfulness: Neuroscience and Clinical Applications” from King’s College, London, in 2015. She is the author of Mindfulness at Work: Learn to be Mindful in Seven Simple Steps (Hachette UK, 2016), a practical and neuroscience-based introduction to mindfulness for the workplace as well as a neuroscience-based coaching book Investing in Meaning: An Alternative Approach to Leveraging your Portfolio (Completely Novel, 2012).
Clara’s beginners’ and advanced workshops include Mindfulness at Work, Balanced Mind Programme, Neuroscience for Leadership, Transcending Unconscious Bias and Emotional Intelligence. She also offers Authentic Wellbeing Coaching on a one-to-one basis and is about to launch a series of four online courses on cultivating the four components of a balanced mind as a prerequisite for bringing about sustainable wellbeing through meditation.
