WHO defines self-care as “the ability of individuals, families and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and to cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a healthcare provider.”
Incorporating a good self-care routine helps us to create and maintain a meaningful connection with ourselves, and to feel good about ourselves and others. When the cup is full, we are able to share. When we have a good connection and relationship with the self, we can connect with others, and we can help others to develop positive and beneficial self-care practices for themselves.
In this webinar, Dr. Denley will share 3 simple self-care practices for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Creating a good routine of these practices can help in long-term fitness and maintaining an ever-lasting holistic wellness.
Elizabeth holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Sydney, Australia, and she has been involved in values and ethics education and training for both children and adults, with a particular emphasis on communication and teamwork for 25 years, developing programs for schools and colleges in India, Australia, Fiji and Europe. She coordinated the development of the Heartfulness Education Programs for schools.
Elizabeth is a certified Heartfulness trainer, the editor-in-chief of Heartfulness magazine, and a writer and editor for the Heartfulness Education Trust. In the last year, she has delivered online programs and courses to Amazon USA, VISA USA, MIT World Peace University, and Amity Business School, amongst others.
