Goals and Aspirations
What is the one important thing that is common to all achievers? – All achievers set big goals in their lives. – In fact, you will never meet a successful person who did not set goals.
SMART Goals
Make sure goals are SMART, S for Specific, M stands for Measurable, A means Achievable, R is for Relevant/ Realistic and T stands for Time-bound.
Power of Thoughts
On an average 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts go through our minds every day. We feel something first in our hearts and it sprouts as a thought later in our minds.
My Strengths
Is it correct to compare ourselves with others? Everyone is different. No two people are exactly the same. We all are unique. We think, feel & behave in certain ways.
Communication Skills
What is Communication or what happens when we communicate? It is exchange of Feelings, Thoughts, Emotions, Facts and Information.
Balance
Balance is to maintain a “steady and stable” state. We must move forward to keep our balance. As this saying goes, Life is like riding a Bicycle.
Need for Courage
Courage is a combination of two Latin words. Cour – meaning Heart and ‘-age ‘– to act with. Therefore, courage means ‘to act with the heart’. Courage helps to overcome fear.
Courage and Confidence
Courage and confidence are interdependent. Confidence is achieved by repeatedly doing a thing successfully. But before that initial success is achieved, one must first have the courage to even make the attempt.
Heartfulness Yoga
The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj‘. It means ‘to join‘, ‘to unite‘ or ‘to connect’. Yoga is the union or connection of body, mind and spirit.This is achieved through the process of meditation.
Leadership Skills
A true leader is a role model, but he/she doesn’t stop at that. He/she creates more role models. They have the ability to see the hidden potential in others.
Time Management
Our Time bank: 86,400 seconds credited in the morning every day in all our accounts. We are permitted to use all the seconds within 24 hours. Can’t carry forward any unused seconds! No overdraft permitted. So we must use time wisely.
Decision making Skills
Decision making process involves 6 main steps. 1. Identifying the problem 2. Analyzing the problem 3. Developing alternative solutions 4. Selecting the best solution 5. Converting decision into action 6. Follow up of Action Taken
Healthy Living
Healthy Living does not merely refer to the aspect of food and balanced diet. According to WHO:
“Health is a state of Complete Physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”
Sustainable Development Goals
Sustainable development, or sustainability, has been described in terms of three spheres, dimensions, domains or pillars. These three dimensions refer to the environment, the economy and society.
