Lawyer & former President of India

“

The presentation of Designing Destiny to the Hon'ble President of India marks a meaningful milestone in the journey of this remarkable work. More than a book, Designing Destiny is an invitation to explore the immense potential that lies within every individual. Through practical wisdom, scientific insight, and timeless spiritual principles, Daaji guides readers toward a life of greater clarity, balance, and purpose.

Its message transcends age, culture, and profession, reminding us that our future is shaped not by circumstances alone, but by the quality of our thoughts, choices, and consciousness. This special occasion reflects the universal relevance of the book's vision — one that encourages humanity to embrace inner transformation as the foundation for personal fulfillment and collective progress.

The book's core idea, in four parts

Destiny isn't fixed — it's authored daily, through thought, practice and connection.

1

The Present is the Only Lever

Destiny can be changed only from where we stand right now — never in the past, and not by waiting for the future.

2

Thought Shapes the Path

Our everyday thoughts, likes and dislikes, what draws us in and what repels us, quietly write the story we go on to live.

3

The Mind Needs Practice

Designing destiny is a discipline, not a wish. It calls for sustained meditative practice to work directly with the mind.

4

We Rise Together

No one designs their destiny alone. Personal change radiates outward, until it becomes strong enough to shift humanity's course.

“Meditation carries us from the complexity of the mind into the simplicity of the heart.“

The FIRST PRINCIPLE of destiny is that we can only change it in the present.

THE SECOND PRINCIPLE is that we create destiny for ourselves by our everyday thoughts - our wishes, what attracts us and repels us, our likes and dislikes.

The THIRD PRINCIPLE is that we need to work upon the mind to design our destiny. And for this we need a meditative practice.

THE FINAL PRINCIPLE we will explore in the book is that we are not alone; we are all connected. To design the destiny of humanity, we start with ourselves first and then expand our radius to include others. A day will surely come when together we are capable of changing the direction humanity is taking.
