The World Economic Forum (2018) noted that mental health disorders are on the rise in every country in the world and could cost the global economy up to $16 trillion between 2010 and 2030 if a collective failure to respond is not addressed. We are faced with an international mental health crisis and have been forewarned over the past two decades of this imminent catastrophe.
1 in 5 kids and adults struggle with some type of mental diagnosis, while childhood and adult ADHD have risen over 2000 percent in the last 20 years.
We are seeing an epidemic rise in physical and mental health issues in the last decades and it is only getting worse.
Why?
We know that the brain controls everything. Today we live in a society that impacts the brains of our children in its development negatively in many ways as well as the brains of adults.
Dr. Elisabeth Bouderlique from France and Dr. Birgit Dürr from Germany have been trained by Dr. Robert Melillo from the US in helping people with neurodevelopmental disorders, and are now also spreading his work in Europe.
Dr. Robert Melillo is an American chiropractor and researcher. Through his experience and research, he developed the concept he calls “functional disconnection syndrome, he has been helping thousands of children with various neurological dysfunctions for many years.
His method has also been subject of an independent study done at the psychiatric department of Harvard Medical School and shown that after 3 months of ‘Brain Balance’ exercises and ‘Interactive Metronom’, children with ADHD have had not only beneficial effects on attention and hyperactivity but also show physical effects in the MRT on brain connectivity between the regions involved in the symptomatology of ADHD. This study is about to be published.
