In this webinar, Swati will share her experience on the importance of being happy and well-nourished throughout pregnancy and post-partum. This healthy state enables the new mother to enjoy her new role of mothering (learning newer ways of handling self and the baby with joy). This learning equips the mother and her partner to have a pleasurable parenting despite all the challenges that their bundle of joy brings with it.
Nutritious meals (planning, preparing and consuming), the importance of rest through practice of relaxation and meditation, getting adequate sleep, parenting skills and family support would all be discussed.
Nourishment for the mind empowers the mother with confidence and her nourished soul fills her with love. The speaker would discuss about nutrients for the mind and the soul.
Sharing of real life experiences of her clients (with permissions and name changes) is part of the session, to make it more relatable.

Swati Thoda is a certified Clinical Nutritionist and a Lactation Counselor based in Mumbai, India. She has a successful practice of more than two decades in the field of dietetics. She also specializes in designing and delivering programs on breastfeeding and infant care, helping pregnant and lactating women to handle their special days with confidence. Her professional work extends to delivering programs at schools, universities, corporates, communities.
She is a published author and her book titled, “Nutri blend – Look good, Feel good” invokes the understanding that food is not just to fill stomach, but to nourish our entire being.
Swati has been a practitioner of Heartfulness meditation since 1997 and trainer too, conducting Heartfulness sessions and workshops.
