Aesop
Aesop (c. 620–564 BCE) was a Greek storyteller credited with a number of fables now known as Aesop's Fables. Although his existence is not well documented, numerous stories have been credited to him, gathered across the centuries in many languages in a storytelling tradition that continues to this day. Many of his tales are characterized by anthropomorphic animal characters.
