Abraham Verghese

Dr. Verghese is a renowned physician, author, and professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. His best-selling books include My Own Country, The Tennis Partner, Cutting for Stone, and The Covenant of Water. He’s a member of the National Academy of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, and was awarded the National Humanities Medal in 2015.
