Celebrate with meditation, satsangh, and a spirit of joyful togetherness.

The upcoming Bhandara at Kanha Shanti Vanam is a sacred and uplifting celebration that brings together seekers from around the world to honor the 71st Birthday Celebration of Beloved Daaji, the revered fourth Guide of the Heartfulness tradition. Set amidst Kanha’s lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere, this grand gathering embodies the spirit of peace, harmony, and spiritual unity. Kanha Shanti Vanam, the global headquarters of the Heartfulness Institute, is also a model of sustainability, recognized with the IGBC Platinum Award and the Pride of Telangana Award in 2019, and the Telanganaku Haritha Haram Award for two consecutive years beginning in 2018. During the Bhandara, tens of thousands come together to meditate, reflect, and rejoice in a shared journey toward inner stillness. People from diverse cultures and backgrounds unite in an atmosphere of love and togetherness, experiencing the joy of collective meditation and the calmness that Kanha naturally inspires. More than just a celebration, the Bhandara is a living expression of universal brotherhood — a reminder that when hearts come together in sincerity and silence, the world moves a little closer to peace.

Renowned teacher of meditation, Kamlesh D. Patel, affectionately known as Daaji, was born in India. From his young days, he has been interested in spirituality and met his Guide, Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur (Babuji), the founder and first President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission. Kamlesh continued to follow Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari (Chariji), the second President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, after Babuji’s passing away. He is now the President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, teaching Heartfulness Meditation. He is a vital role model for anyone wanting to evolve as a human being and expand consciousness. A spiritual catalyst, displaying the perfect blend of the Eastern heart and Western mind, he is able to connect with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, giving special attention to today’s youth.
Daaji advocates bridging ancient tradition with modern scientific understanding, and has assembled a team of one hundred scientists to research the physiological and genetic effects of meditation and yogic transmission. He believes in approaching spirituality with scientific methodology – a practical approach stemming from his own experience and mastery in the field. As he often says, “You are the experimenter, the experiment, and also its result.”
