The upcoming Bhandara at Kanha Shanti Vanam is a sacred and uplifting celebration that brings together seekers from around the world to honor the 153rd Birth Anniversary of Shri Lalaji Maharaj, the revered first Guide of the Heartfulness tradition. Set amidst Kanha’s lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere, this grand gathering embodies the spirit of peace, harmony, and spiritual unity. Kanha Shanti Vanam, the global headquarters of the Heartfulness Institute, is also a model of sustainability, recognized with the IGBC Platinum Award and the Pride of Telangana Award in 2019, and the Telanganaku Haritha Haram Award for two consecutive years beginning in 2018. During the Bhandara, tens of thousands come together to meditate, reflect, and rejoice in a shared journey toward inner stillness. People from diverse cultures and backgrounds unite in an atmosphere of love and togetherness, experiencing the joy of collective meditation and the calmness that Kanha naturally inspires. More than just a celebration, the Bhandara is a living expression of universal brotherhood — a reminder that when hearts come together in sincerity and silence, the world moves a little closer to peace.
Celebrating 50 Years of the Shahjahanpur Ashram
Following the Bhandara at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Heartfulness practitioners worldwide will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Shahjahanpur Ashram, the birthplace of Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur (Babuji Maharaj) — the second Spiritual Master and founder of Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM) in 1945. Building on the foundation laid by Shri Ram Chandra of Fatehgarh (Lalaji Maharaj), Babuji introduced the Sahaj Marg system to seekers globally. His legacy was carried forward by Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari (Chariji Maharaj) and continues under Shri Kamlesh D.
