As we approach the 12th International Day of Yoga, the world stands at a fragile crossroads. With the current global situation echoing far beyond borders, Ahimsa—the first Yama upon which all Yoga stands—moves from a philosophical ideal to a global necessity. To put Amisha in action, we inviting you to start a journey on May 2nd at Kanha Shanti Vanam, marking a 50-day countdown to IDY2026. We believe that peace is not a fleeting annual event, but a disciplined practice that must begin today if we hope to see it reflected in the world around us.

Why Your Presence Matters

You may ask, "What can one person do?" while sitting far from the reach of global conflict. Yoga reminds us that we are not isolated; we are a collective vibration. When millions practice Ahimsa simultaneously, we shift the global energy from friction toward connection. Your breath, thoughts, and intentions contribute to a wave of non-violence that transcends borders. By joining us, starting this May, you choose to resolve the tension within your own heart, proving that peace is not only negotiated at tables, but authored in the stillness of our shared practice.

This is the first test of love: that it knows no bargaining. Love is always the giver, and never the taker. This selfless love is the essence of Ahimsa. Only he who has no fear can practice true non-violence, for it is the virtue of the strong.
