Perspective of Medical and Behavioral Sciences
GLOW WEBINAR
October 19th 2019
Although lifestyles and family roles continue to evolve, women still tend to have significant influence over what we eat as a family. Whether as a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, or even as a professional, women make daily choices involving foods that either help or hinder their health and that of those around them. After celebrating World Heart Day we are left wondering how to nurture our families and ourselves in ways that feel abundant. No one wants to sacrifice good times and great flavors, and healthy eating is often labeled in negative ways, like “you’re eating only lettuce?” or the famous “but where do you get your protein?” Join Margaret Cornelius, MD, and Marilyn Cornelius, PhD as they speak about the colorful, flavorful, and sheer fun ways to appreciate and incorporate a heart-friendly diet and lifestyle. Their approach is grounded in science and flourishing with opportunities to feel your best.
