Ibtisam Al Wardi is a mother of three from Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. She is a speech therapist who worked for ten years in a hospital managing pediatric caseload. She also pursued her MBA during that period. Later she pursued a career as a freelancer, and is a prolific writer in major national and international journals and magazines.
Ibtisam is currently a lecturer in the Sultan Qaboos University teaching business communication. Among her articles, are researches published on positive parenting, communication with children and raising awareness on issues such as harassment, peer pressure, reading, critical thinking. She serves as an inspiration in schools, colleges and universities where her writing are featured and she conducts sessions.
