Habit is what keeps you going.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With any opportunity, we get motivated. We get inspired. We are now part of the big motivation wave. The fear of the old habit kicking back in is lurking in the background.<\/p>\n<p>This must be overcome. It can be overcome only by taking advantage of the motivation wave. We all know practice makes us perfect. A new goal requires repeated performance. Enthusiasm and motivations are just a beginning. Commitment is difficult and must be cultivated and converted into an effortless habit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-center\">\u201cThe chains of habit are too weak to be felt<br \/>\nuntil they are too strong to be broken.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014\u200aSamuel Johnson<\/p>\n<p>To focus on the new set of activities that create a new habit of automatism, let us seek out and avoid unnecessary activities and routines and clear our calendar for the next 90 days.<\/p>\n<p>To make the habits stronger let us participate in the daily, weekly and individual and group practices as much as possible. Let us tie ourselves to a set of commitment devices. Create or join a group that meditates daily, weekly. Create or join a group that reads weekly. Look for a trainer and meditate with them weekly. Use the audios and videos to keep yourselves on track.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-center\">\u201cWhat gets measured gets improved\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Robin Sharma.<\/p>\n<p>How do we measure what we do? We keep a diary. We keep a <a href=\"https:\/\/heartfulness.org\/en\/90-days-of-heartfulness\/\">90-day Heartfulness<\/a> Calendar. If not for anyone else, let it hang in our bathrooms and closets. This is to adjust and make improvements.<\/p>\n<p>If needed let us make tiny incremental progress daily.
