The Heartfulness Institute has its international headquarters at the pristine 1400-acre campus at Kanha Shanti Vanam, located near Chegur Village in Ranga Reddy district, 50 kilometers from Hyderabad in India.
29 January 2020 marked the inauguration of the world’s largest meditation center at Kanha Shanti Vanam, by the current Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, Pujya Shri Kamlesh D.Patel (Daaji), in the august presence of Yogrishi Swamiji Baba Ramdev.
The meditation center, with its magnificent and lofty structure, grabbed the attention and imagination of everyone, with a capacity to seat 100,000 people for meditation at one time. The unveiling of this facility celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Mission, which has a global presence in 162 countries. It was dedicated by Daaji to the first guide of Heartfulness, Shri Ram Chandra of Fatehgarh (Lalaji).
With a footprint of over 30 acres, this architectural wonder has a central primary meditation hall, with cold water running under the floor to keep it cool in the summer. The central hall is surrounded by eight smaller satellite pods, which together house an auditorium, a conference hall and seating over 2 floors for meditation and training purposes. Collectively, the facility can hold 100,000 participants, making it the largest of its kind.
In his inaugural speech, Daaji said, “The meditation center is a structure not only of physical importance, but it also inspires those who seek betterment in their lives through meditation practices. Hence, it is a magnanimous gift to humankind by the universe.”
The celebration of this 75-year milestone will continue over three sessions, each of three days, between 28 January and 9 February, drawing participants in vast numbers from all over the world.

Kanha Shanti Vanam has been recognised as a self-sustaining green oasis for flora and fauna, and humans.

Heartfulness, also known as Sahaj Marg or the Natural Path, is a Raja Yoga system of meditation that emerged at the turn of the 20th century. It provides a modern-day approach to Yoga, with an emphasis on Dhyana or meditation. The support of the ancient art of Pranahuti or Transmission gives Heartfulness its uniqueness. As a result, the organisation is growing exponentially in all parts of the world.
